Project rationale

It is particularly important for people who are blind and visually impaired that information and communication technology (ICT) is an accessible medium for learning and teaching. ICT is used to optimize the choice of different teaching methods and learning styles. However, current computer-assisted educational opportunities for people who are visually impaired are generally not accessible. eLearning courses are generally only accessible to users without a disability.
