open-EIS - the universal standard platform for knowledge portals
Thanks to the extremely flexible technology and modularity, all the necessary IT applications which you need for the success of your company can be created or integrated with open-EIS. Important interbranch modules are contained according to standard, others are branch and company specific and will be offered specifically for your branch by our partners and us or will be created individually for the processes of your company or your administration. You can profit from this know-how, too.

The following selected eLearning projects have been developed with open-EIS:

  • Education and eLearning portal openACADEMY
    The standard functionalities of open-EIS in the field of learning management (developed for "eLearning" and „virtual academies") are implemented in the education and eLearning portal openACADEMY.
  • OTTO-Versand Hamburg (OTTO catalogue-company)
    The German catalogue-company OTTO introduces an eLearning system based on open-EIS for knowledge transfer to the customer centres. This system consists of the components co-worker administration, authoring system, reporting and encyclopaedia.
  • VW Coaching: EDITS Web
    Community4you developed together with VW Coaching a seminar resources management system on the basis of open-EIS in order to create, manage and use user-defined materials and information (e.g. seminar materials and training information).
  • Campus Psychiatrie (Campus Psychiatry)
    For the fulfilment of the legal further education measures, innovative learning methods are used in medical further training. „The working group bipolar ", a union of eminent psychiatrists, compiled in this context an innovative advanced training concept (Blended Learning) for psychiatrists and neurologists. As technical basis the eLearning system open-EIS was selected.
  • Knowledge Laboratory
    Community4you developed the web-based experience database "Knowledge Laboratory" together with the TU Chemnitz. This data base was funded by the BMWA in the context of a project for knowledge management for SMEs In the "Knowledge Laboratory" tools and proven concepts for practical knowledge management are collected and made available on a platform for SMEs.
  • BSW + BZSH
    Saxonian education institutions like the Bildungszentrum des Sächsischen Handels (BZSH) (Education Centre of the Saxonian Trade) and the Bildungswerk der Sächsischen Wirtschaft (BSW) (Training Centre of the Saxonian economy) use the open-EIS based eLearning system for some years for further educational measures.
